Clark Development Corporation (CDC) hosted a Japan National Day at the Quest Plus Conference Center last Feburary 20, 2023.
CDC is a government owned corporation tasked to manage the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, Philippines. Its core mission is to foster a healthy business environment for investors and develop local communities through the creation of jobs and supporting local economies.
For Japan National Day, the CDC, headed by CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, gathered various Japanese-led Clark businesses to celebrate the close relationship between Japan and the Philippines.
Economic Minister of the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, Daisuke Nihei, also graced the event, speaking about close ties built between the local community and Japanese firms based on mutual respect and shared priorities.
Technowood president Eiji Tonokura was invited to the event representing Technowood Manufacturing Corporation (TMC).
TMC has been operating inside the Clark Freeport Zone for over 20 years and manufactures sterile medical devices for distribution and use across 15 countries. TMC specializes in cardiovascular medical products like the SSS guidewires, SoftNAV catheters, PTS Neo tubing sets, and Technowood Biopsy Forceps.
TMC has been certified under ISO 13485 and Japan Good Manufacturing Practice since 2004 demonstrating its commitment to provide safe and reliable medical products to the global healthcare market.
